I was licensed as a counselor in 2010 and became a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in December 2019. I earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling and an MA in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2006. In May 2001 I graduated from the University of North Carolina from Charlotte with a BA in Psychology. I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Counseling Association.
When not counseling you will find me attending and serving at my church. I love spending time with family, friends, my dog, Avery and my cats Smoltz and Olson. I love roller coasters, college football especially Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. I pull for the Atlanta Braves baseball as you can tell by the names of the fur babies. I am a former triathlete and runner and will occasionally run a race here and there. I love reading especially if it means I get to curl up on the couch with one of the cats!
